Child safety

Child Safety Standards

planB is committed to preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation and keeping our platform free from child sexual abuse material.

Our standards

These standards apply to planB, the social connection app operated by Team PlanB. planB is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly permit children to use the service.

Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) means content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. This includes grooming, sextortion, trafficking, and any other sexual exploitation of a child.

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) means any visual depiction, including photos, videos, or computer-generated imagery, of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct. CSAM is illegal and is strictly prohibited on planB.

We prohibit grooming, sexual exploitation, sexualisation of children, requests for or sharing of CSAM, and attempts to arrange sexual contact with a child. We also prohibit using planB to facilitate trafficking or any other abuse of children.

More broadly, we strictly prohibit child abuse, child exploitation, child labour, child trafficking, child sexual abuse material or pornography, child trauma, child threats, and any other content or behaviour that puts children in danger. These rules apply whether the conduct happens on planB, is arranged through planB, or is directed at a planB user.

Prohibited conduct

  • Child abuse, neglect, grooming, or exploitation in any form.
  • Child sexual abuse material, child pornography, or sexualised content involving minors.
  • Child labour, trafficking, or using the platform to facilitate the exploitation of a child.
  • Threats, coercion, blackmail, sextortion, or any behaviour that places a child in danger.
  • Content or conduct that causes, encourages, or glorifies trauma, violence, or harm to children.
  • Recruiting, contacting, or attempting to meet a child for an abusive, exploitative, or unlawful purpose.

Our goal is to create a safe environment for children, women, and everyone who uses or is affected by planB. We take concerns seriously and act on reports in accordance with these standards, applicable law, and the need to protect people from harm.

If you see suspected abuse or exploitation

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement first.

Do not put yourself or the child at further risk. You do not need to send suspected CSAM to planB or any reporting service.

  1. Contact your local law enforcement immediately if a child may be in immediate danger.
  2. Report the profile, post, message, or activity in the planB app using the in-app reporting tools.
  3. Do not share, download, save, or comment on suspected child sexual abuse material. Do not forward it to us.
  4. Include relevant details in your report, such as the profile or activity involved and why you are concerned.
  5. For urgent reports or reports outside the app, contact Team PlanB using the phone number or email below.

Report child abuse or danger to a child

If someone on the platform is abusing a child, if a child is being abused, or if you know someone who may be suffering, please report it to us as soon as possible.

Report through the Contact page

How Team PlanB responds

Reports are reviewed by trained members of Team PlanB and prioritised according to the risk of harm. We may remove content, restrict or permanently disable accounts, preserve relevant information, and report suspected CSAM or child exploitation to law enforcement or the appropriate authorities where required by law.

We take action consistent with these standards, applicable law, and the safety of children. We do not tolerate retaliation against anyone who makes a good-faith safety report.

The planB in-app reporting mechanism is available without leaving the app: open the profile, post, activity, or conversation, select the report option, choose the reason, add details, and submit the report.
